Holiday Clubs

Each winter SciExplo hosts holiday clubs to expose students in townships to various science fields. Over the years, we have introduced Grade 10 learners to Robotics, Aeronautics, Cryptography, Biotechnology, Forensic Sciences through interactive activities.

Learners are offered basic lessons on these topics and are required to apply their new knowledge in group projects. The program provides learners with an opportunity to visit companies and interact with field experts. In addition to technical skills, learners are taught presentation skills and the use of PowerPoint.
